out

our
own
Apartment
in
the
village
of
Secinaro
(about
20km
from
L'Aquila)
to
the
surrounding
areas.
Day
trips
can
be
made
to
Rome
on
the
West
Coast
(2½
hrs
by
car)
or
to
Pescara
on
the
East
Coast
(1¼
hrs
by
car). The local Ski Resorts can be reached in 40-45mins or so, even on a bad day.
We are a husband & wife team and have recently celebrated our 50th Wedding Anniversary (Golden Wedding).
We love all things Italian and purchased a property in Secinaro some some years ago with our son Andrew, which we have renovated and
now have the opportunity to holiday, enjoy walking/skiing and just generally “chill out”
John’s passion/hobby is to document things to do & places to go in the Abruzzo/Secinaro area to help English Speaking (and other
nationalities) enjoy the unspoiled area of Abruzzo as much as we do. We would love to speak Italian a little better - please give us a kick
or a helping hand!

We are a husband & wife team and have recently celebrated our
50th Wedding Anniversary (Golden Wedding).
We love all things Italian and purchased a property in Secinaro
some some years ago with our son Andrew, which we have
renovated and now have the opportunity to holiday, enjoy
walking/skiing and just generally “chill out”
John’s passion/hobby is to document things to do & places to go in
the Abruzzo/Secinaro area to help English Speaking (and other
nationalities) enjoy the unspoiled area of Abruzzo as much as we
